IV90870: ESTIMATED DURATION WRONG

 

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Issue with "Estimated Duration" on Monitor Jobs in TDWC.
    
    The "Estimated Duration" showing a maximum time of 00:16:39.
    
    I have replicated the Issue in the my Test Environment.
    
    I have created the follwing job definion (sleep for 20 minutes)
    :
    
    NC051186#VENTIMIN
     DOCOMMAND "sleep 1200"
     STREAMLOGON tws93
     TASKTYPE UNIX
     RECOVERY STOP
    
    I have noted that the issue is also on conman :

    for your convenience, I have noted that 00:16:39 (in

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Estimated duration algorithm fixed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This apar will be fixed in 9.3.0-TIV-TWS-FP0003 and
    9.4.0-TIV-TWS-FP0001
