  application/octet-stream for all file extension rather than
  returning the MIME type for specific file object.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• MimetypesFileTypeMap.getContentType returns
  application/octet-stream for all file types. The reason for this
  behaviour is the file /META-INF/mimetypes.default missing in
  jre/lib/resources.jar in IBM JDK1.7
  

Problem conclusion

• JDK is now updated to have /META-INF/mimetypes.default  file in
  jre/lib/resources.jar.

     7 R1 SR3 FP40  (7.1.3.40)
