Local fix

  • This issue can be worked around by adding Java option
    -Xjit:disableDecimalFormatPeephole

Problem summary

  • The crash happened when the JIT compiler was accessing an
invalid field of a C++ object. This was because the JIT compiler
expected the object to be a different type.

Problem conclusion

  • The JIT compiler has been updated to take the type of objects
causing the crash into consideration and prevent the failure.
