IV80392: JVM CRASHES DURING JIT COMPILATION
Closed as program error.
Error Message: JVM crashes with GPF . Stack Trace: replaceMembersOfFormat__22TR_ByteCodeIlGeneratorFv genIL__22TR_ByteCodeIlGeneratorFv genIL__23TR_ResolvedMethodSymbolFP11TR_FrontEndP14TR_Compilation P23TR_SymbolReferenceTableP15TR_ILGenRequest compile__14TR_CompilationFv .
This issue can be worked around by adding Java option -Xjit:disableDecimalFormatPeephole
The crash happened when the JIT compiler was accessing an invalid field of a C++ object. This was because the JIT compiler expected the object to be a different type.
The JIT compiler has been updated to take the type of objects causing the crash into consideration and prevent the failure. .
