APAR status

Error description

• The valueMax computation in itm630fp6 was changed based on
  input from the curi team. The calculation in the data provider
  was changed when *SCALE and *RANGE are used in an ODI attribute
  definition.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  using the FRMSUSEPCT attribute from the Omegamon for Z/os
  REALSTOR table the problem can be seen in the dash server.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Display formatting of percentage type fields associated with
  dashboards created and hosted by DASH are incorrectly scaled.
  
  
  The payload returned by the IBM Tivoli Monitoring Dashboard Data
  Provider for metric requests includes metadata information used
  by the dashboard widgets to calculate the displayed value.  For
  percentage type attributes, this additional metadata includes
  the maximum range that the value can attain for the attribute.
  In some scenarios, that maximum range value was not computed
  correctly by the Dashboard Data Provider.  This resulted in the
  displayed value on the dashboard being formatted incorrectly,
  where the decimal position was off by a factor of 10 or more.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix was made to the IBM Tivoli Monitoring Dashboard Data
  Provider component to correctly scale the internal values
  used by the dashboard widgets so that the displayed percentage
  value is formatted correctly.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
