APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Through a series of creating, deleting, and undeleting lines,
    it is possible to return more than a quantity that was issued
    against an issue transaction.
    
    Steps to replicate:
    
     1. Log in to Maximo
     2. Go to > Inventory > Inventory Usage
     3. Create a new inventory usage record with From Storeroom
    CENTRAL and Usage Type ISSUE.
     4. Click Select Items For Return, choose a line item 20778
    Quantity -1 and click OK.
     5. Click Select Items For Return, select item  217213 row and
    click OK.
     5. Delete the first line item 20778 (do not save)
     6. Click Select Items For Return and choose the same item
    20778  that was chosen in step # 4
     7. Undelete the first line the line number 1
     8. Save the record and change the status to COMPLETE.
    
    EXPECTATION:
    The system should not have permitted this since I now returned
    more than was issued against the issue transaction that had a
    quantity of 1 originally issued.
