Local fix
Running with -Xjit:disableInvariantArgumentPreexistence,disableInnerPreexiste nce should cause the problem to stop occurring; this option may impact performance of some workloads.

The problem was caused by an optimization incorrectly storing data used during the execution of some methods of the java.lang.MethodHandle class
Problem conclusion
The JIT compiler was modified such that the problematic optimization now correctly stores data related to the java.lang.MethodHandle class . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR2 (8.0.2.0) 7 R1 SR3 FP20 (7.1.3.20) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs.
