Local fix
Problem summary
On Linux kernels with version 2.6.39+, the documented command-line options -Xthr:<cfsYield<PIPE>noCfsYield> are ignored since the JVM cannot detect whether CFS (Completely Fair Scheduler) is enabled. Thus, the CFS tuning advice given in the User Guide can't be applied.
Problem conclusion
The JVM has been updated to apply the command-line options -Xthr:<cfsYield<PIPE>noCfsYield> regardless of whether CFS is detected. This will allow users to follow CFS tuning advice given in the User Guide as per their needs. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR2 (8.0.2.0) 7 R1 SR3 FP20 (7.1.3.20) .
