Problem summary

• When metadata of malformed/corrupt PNG image has  invalid chunk
  length (image size), it can be very huge and result in
  OutOfMemoryError while allocating the image object.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JDK code has been updated to throw an Invalid image
  IOException  when the metadata of PNG image has invalid image
  size.
  .
