Error description
Env: TWS 9.1.1 Oracle DB ERROR: User is installing 9.1 fixpack 2 and the installer hangs at 99%. These are the errors that appear: "GLSTEST" is not a TWS 8.6.0.00 database. The upgrade will not be executed. 0 Database GLSTEST already has nullable PWKS_ID column in table PJOR_JOB_RUNS. SELECT COUNT(PJST_DELTA_JOBS) FROM TWS_ADMIN.PJST_JOB_STREAMS * ERROR at line 1: ORA-00904: "PJST_DELTA_JOBS": invalid identifier ... Database "GLSTEST" has been successfully upgraded to the following version: PJSTDELTAJOBS SP2-0310: unable to open file "../sql/check_PJST_PEND_PRED_FLAG.sql"
Local fix
User looked in the check_PJSTPENDPRED.sql file and saw that it was referencing PJST_PEND_PRED_FLAG. They then linked the two together check_PJST_PEND_PRED_FLAG.sql -> ./check_PJSTPENDPRED.sql issued a kill -HUP on the pid for the sqlplus that this was hanging on. The process completed and the installer completed also. It says that FP2 was successfully installed.
Problem summary
The installation code has been fixed to call the right sql file to check the field PJST_PEND_PRED_FLAG of the table PJST_JOB_STREAMS
Problem conclusion
This APAR will be fixed in TWS 9.1.0-TIV-TWS-FP0003
Temporary fix
