• Error Message: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException from JCL
  or user code or similar problems in loops

Local fix

• please add the following option -Xjit:disableLoopStrider to a
  java command to work around the issue.
  

Problem summary

• Two consecutive transformations in LoopStrider resulted in
  invalid  IL trees. The first transformation widened a type of
  the incrementing expression of the induction variable and the
  second transformation disregarded the result of the first
  transformation and added i2l to conform to the right type.
  

Problem conclusion

• The opt was updated to make sure that the second transformation
  adds conversion trees only if a conversion is indeed required.
