IV75068: UPGRADE FROM 9.2.0.1 TO 9.2.0.2 FAILS IF THE LAST IMPORT FAILED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Upgrade from 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.2 fails if the last import failed.
  
  
  In the end, some data in tables were not cleaned up, what caused
  schema upgrade failure, throwing an error like:
  
  
  ---
  [FATAL]
  Sequel::ForeignKeyConstraintViolation
  (Java::ComIbmDb2JccAm::SqlIntegrityConstraintViolationException:
  A parent row cannot be deleted because the relationship
  "SAM.RAW_COMPUTER_HEALTH_VALUES.SQL150303155758980" restricts
  the deletion.. SQLCODE=-532, SQLSTATE=23504, DRIVER=4.14.111):

Local fix

• As a workaround please perform the following procedure:
  
  
  1.
  Restore the DB from before migration
  
  2.
  Delete the contents of the sam.raw_computer_health_values table:
  
  e.g.
  ---
  su - db2inst1
  db2 connect to TEMADB
  db2 "delete from sam.raw_computer_health_values"
  ---
  
  3.
  Re-run the upgrade to 9.2.0.2.
