APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Fixlets or tasks getting input from "action parameter query" can
fail if the parameter is a string greater than 1024 bytes.

The following error message is displayed "Command failed
(Relevance substitution failed)" at agent side.
The error occurs because the buffer used to read the
action-parameter field in the .fxf file is limited to 1024
bytes (parameter name included).
Need to:
- enlarge this limit at least to 2048 bytes
- include an alert message on the IEM Console when the input
string is larger than the upper bound limit
- add this limitation on the IEM Documentation
