    Prior to the OutOfMemoryError, a loop occurs in the j9ddr core
    readers while walking the native stack frames (zOS DSA control
    blocks).
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Problem is caused when jdmpview is walking the native stacks in
    a zOS system dump.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The j9ddr core readers used by the jdmpview tool have been
    updated to prevent the loop and OutOfMemoryError from occurring.

    This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
