APAR status

Error description

  • Error Message: When a SSL client tries to connect to the SSL
    server and if the handshake fails due to server doesn't support
    the signature algorithm proposed by the client, all subsequent
    connection attempts from other clients may fail even though the
    server supports the signature algorithms proposed by those
    clients. The server will just throw SSLHandshakeException with
    error message "no cipher suites in common".

    result

  • The fix adds check of EMPTY ALIASES when determining whether to
    search the keys from keystore.
