Error description
Error Message: An unhandled segmentation error is raised in a JIT compiled method with vmState=0x00000000 . Stack Trace: N/A . The problem only occurs if the method which would have generated the ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception has been JIT compiled. The problem only occurs on zLinux and zOS platforms.
Local fix
The issue can be worked around using the -Xjit:disableScheduling option. Note that this option may affect performance.
Problem summary
The problem is caused when the instruction scheduler incorrectly re-orders an array access outside of the array bounds check.
Problem conclusion
The instruction scheduler has been updated to avoid re-ordering instructions past array bounds checks. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 6 SR16 FP7 (6.0.16.7) .
