Error description

  • Environment:

    Steps to replicate:
    -------------------
    Go to Administration -> Conditional Expression Manager
    Create a new condition: Cond01
    Type: Expression
    :reportedpriority = 1
    Always Evaluate: Checked
    
    Go to System Configuration -> Platform Configuration ->
    Application
    Designer
    Select SR
    From select action menu choose add/modify signature options
    add a new sigoption: testsig01
    Description: test sigoption - make classification required
    
    On Service Request tab
    Open the properties for class description field (or
    classification
    field)
    On Advanced tab enter Signature Option: testsig01
    Click on Configure Conditional Properties
    In Security Groups section add a new row: Name: maxadmin
    In Conditions for Security Group section add a new row
    Condition Number: COND01
    In Property Values for Condition section, Condition is true tab
    click
    on Enter Property:
    Property: inputmode
    Value: required
    Click OK and save the record
    
    Go to Security -> Security Groups
    Select maxadmin
    On applications tab select Service Requests
    Grant access to the new sigoption to maxadmin
    (test sigoption - make classification required)
    log out and log in again
    
    Go to Service Desk -> Service Requests
    Create a new SR
    Enter reported priority: 1
    Classification field becomes mandatory which is ok
    change reported priority to 2
    Summary field does not look as if it'a mandatory anymore which
    is fine.
    leave Classification blank and try to save
    
    The following error appears:
    BMXAA4195E - The Classification field requires a value.
