Error description
Error Message: N/A . Stack Trace: N/A . Because the last page used in the debug data area is not memory protected as read-only by the JVM, there is a chance of this page getting corrupt, which may result in unexpected behavior including crash when any attempt is made to access the corrupt data in the page.
Local fix

Problem summary
JVM does not mark the last used page of debug data area as read-only when it determines that no more data can be added to the debug data area of the shared cache. This leaves the data in that page open to corruption which can cause unexpected behavior in the JVM accessing the corrupt data.
Problem conclusion
JVM has been updated to mark the partially filled page of debug data area as read-only once it determines that no more data can be added to the debug data area of the shared class cache. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 7 R1 SR3 FP10 (7.1.3.10) 8 SR1 FP10 (8.0.1.10) 6 R1 SR8 FP7 (6.1.8.7) 7 SR9 FP 10 (7.0.9.10) .
