APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • REST API can produce a not well-formed XML that cannot be
opened by a Web browser.

When REST API invoked via Web, attempts to retrieve properties
including non printable characters, the XML produced is not
well-formed so that the Web browser issues an exception.

Local fix

  • Currently determining workaround.

Problem summary

  • Fixed in IBM Endpoint Manager 9.2 (fixpack 5)
