APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • MAC ClientUI crashes for clients that haven't received any
    action request since start up.
    
    During a shutdown or a restart, the agent assumes that the
    client has allocated resources for the "Action Request Dialog."
    It tries to clean up those non-existent resources leading to the
    crash.
    
    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    Create an action that only displays an Action Request Dialog and
    issued it on the Mac.
    
    - Action Dialog displays
    - snooze action for 10 min
    - Stop the agent with "sudo launchctl unload
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/BESAgentDaemon.plist"
    - NO crashlog
    
    - Start the agent again with "sudo launchctl load
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/BESAgentDaemon.plist"
    - no action dialog displays
    - stop the agent with "sudo launchctl unload
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/BESAgentDaemon.plist"
    - crashlog CREATED
