  The following error is received when customer tries to start
  the Huawei CORBA TMF814:

  The Huawei U2000 Collector makes use of the StringEscapeUtils
  class from the The Apache Commons Language JAR. With the
  StringEscapeUtils class, the Collector correctly escapes
  invalid characters from raw data that can cause failure for the
  ITNM CollectorAgent to process all data sent via XML-RPC.
  
  The commons-lang-2.4.jar is missing from the ITNM installation
  for 4.1.1 FP1. It should be installed in
  /opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/precision/collectors/javaCollectors/lib
  .
  

Local fix

• the jar file can be added to 4.1.1 fp1, and then it will work.
