APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When compiling with IPA, specifically with sub-options
  "-qipa=relink:level=0:partition=large", a memory corruption
  issue that results in incorrect behaviour at runtime occurs.
  

Local fix

• Remove the -qipa option
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  Users who compile programs using IPA may be affected by this
  issue.
  
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  This is a user reported issue of a long compile time that spent
  in the compile link pass.
  

Problem conclusion

• The major compile time was in two optimization sections. The
  fix is to improve these two parts of the code without any
  functional or performance impact.
