Error description

• When compiling very large source code with DWARF debug
  information enabled via -qdbgfmt=dwarf, the compiler is taking a
  very long time, and may not finish.
  

Local fix

• Compile with stabstrings, via -qdbgfmt=stabstring
  

Problem summary

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When compiling large files with -g and -qdbgfmt=dwarf, the
  compilation speed may be very slow and an internal compiler
  error may be triggered.
  
  USERS AFFECTED:
  Users of DWARF debug information.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR will fix the compilation time issue as well as the
  internal compiler error issue.
