Closed as program error.
Error Message: An intermittent SIGSEGV/GPF is recieved, with vmState 0x00040000, when running certain Java workloads, particularly Eclipse-based workloads. . Stack Trace: N/A . Problem is highly intermittent
The disableShrinkWrapping option can be added to -Xjit options.
The JIT compiler's "shrinkwrapping" optimization could occasionally generate code that would fail to save and restore a machine register when reusing that register for another purpose.
The JIT compiler has been modified not to perform the problematic optimization. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 7 SR9 (22.214.171.124) 6 R1 SR8 FP4 (126.96.36.199) 7 R1 SR3 (188.8.131.52) .
