Error description
Error Code 1000 when trying to delete very large Failure Code Hierarchies in our example we had 100's of Problem codes assocaited. Getting error: BMXAA6713E - The MBO fetch operation failed in the mboset with the SQL error code 1000. The record could not be retrieved from the database. See the log file for more detail about the error. Or BMXAA4210E - Database error number 1000 has occured. Invalid SQL queries are logged in the log file. Check the SQL query to identify the error. Steps to recreate: For recreation in Failure Code Application PROB100 to PROB110 have been set up with large number of Causes and Remedies. Go To -> Assets -> Failure Code Seach for "testcode" Click on "Failure Code" header under the Problems Section to sort Problems so that PROB100 is at the top Click *Trash Can* next to PROB100, PROB101, PROB102, PROB103 Click Save Click the Trash Can next to PROB104 As soon as I click the Trash Can on PROB104 you get: Error flash across the top of the screen "BMXAA6713E - The MBO fetch operation failed in the mboset with the SQL error code 1000. The record could not be retrieved from the database." or Or a dialogue box with "BMXAA4210E - Database error number 1000 has occured. Invalid SQL queries are logged in the log file. Check the SQL query to identify he error."

Reload the application and delete the next set.

Problem conclusion
Users now able to delete Problems from Failure Code hierarchies without error. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance package: Fixpack Release TPAE 7.5.0.9.
