IV71189: INCORRECT PO LINE LOADED AND TAX COST WHEN CHANGING QUANTITY BELOW RECEIVED VALUE ON REVISED PO.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If there is a revised PO with one PO line which is partially
  received, there is an error in calculating PO line loaded cost
  and tax value when changing PO line quantity. Reason for this
  is because MAXIMO will not allow for quantity to go below the
  received quantity. However, MAXIMO will calculate loaded cost
  and tax before checking that quantity is greater than received
  quantity. Hence, if quantity entered by the user is below
  received quantity, MAXIMO will throw an error, but after tax
  and loaded cost have already been changed. After error is
  thrown, the line cost and quantity are reverted back, but
  loaded and tax cost will remain with incorrect values.
  
  Reproduction Steps:
  Step 1: Create new PO
  Step 2: Create one Service line. Issue is also observer with
  other line types.
  Step 3: Approve PO
  Step 4: Go to Receiving application and receive services for a
  quantity of 70
  Step 5: Save Service receipt
  Step 6: Go to the PO and revise PO
  Step 7: Put remark for new revision
  Step 8: Open PO line on the revised PO and enter quantity of 50
  Step 9: After entering quantity of 50 you will get error message
  Step 10: Tax and Loaded Cost are left with incorrect values,
  althrough quantity and line cost are reverted the the initial
  values.
