Error description

• Error Message: The following error message is written into a
  javacore, at the end of the GC history section:1INTERNAL      An
  exception occurred attempting to access in-flight data. Internal
  diagnostics:2INTERNAL                J9Generic_Signal_Number:
  000000042INTERNAL                Signal_Number: 0000000BThe JVM
  may also issue the following or a similar message to
  stderr:UTE438: Unable to get formatString for j9vm.13175 - no
  such tracepoint - maximum allowable tracepoint for that
  component is 480
  .
  Stack Trace: N/A

  The javacore GC history section is complete, but with the error
  message at the end of the section. The remaining sections of the
  javacore are also complete and the JVM continues to run.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The problem is caused when the JVM is processing the circular
  memory buffer of GC history tracepoints for output in a javacore
  dump.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JVM has been updated to process the tracepoints correctly.
