APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The switch stitcher can incorrectly resolve CDP connections
  within the switch fabric when there are duplicate IP addresses
  defined for the end points. This fix resolves this by
  preventing a connection being made where the data is not
  definitive and relies on the CDP layer stitcher to resolve the
  connectivity fully.

Problem conclusion

• The switch stitcher code was modified to check for non unique IP
  addresses and in those cases not create the connection. The
  CDPLayer code was modified that when running in xdomain mode to
  not create CDP links unless the connection was truly defined.
