Error description
Define an illogical job / job stream definition with a DEADLINE before the UNTIL time. Like this : SCHEDULE IANMDM#TEST_S DESCRIPTION "testing with until" ON "FREQ=DAILY;BYWORKDAY" fdignore : IANMDM#TEST_S_JOB AT 0900 UNTIL 1900 onuntil suppr DEADLINE 1800 END Add this definition to the database and you encounter this warning (not an error) : AWSBIA300I The scheduling language syntax has been successfully validated for object "IANMDM#TEST_S". AWSJCL027W The job "TEST_S_JOB" defined in job stream "js=IANMDM#TEST_S" has an "until" time that is later than its "deadline" time. Now the TWS documentation states this about that message : System action: The program continues, and the incompatible values are stored in the database, for you to correct later. The job as defined can never run. Please note the comment " The job as defined can never run ". This is wrong, the job will run and the documentation should be changed to reflect that.
