Error description

  • Error Message: N/A
    .
    Stack Trace: N/A
    .
As per the API spec, java.lang.reflect.Array.set(Object array,
int index, Object value) should throw IllegalArgumentException
when the array is a primitive type and the value is not a
wrapped primitive type. Instead the JVM does not throw any
    exception.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • JVM is not throwing IllegalArgumentException from
java.lang.reflect.Array.set API when the array is a primitive
type and the value is not a wrapped primitive type.

    per the specification.
