  This problem only affects z/OS 31-bit JVMs.When running the JVM
  without the -XCEEHDLR option, if a SIGSEGV, SIGILL or SIGFPE
  occurs, only half of the contents of the FP registers are
  displayed in the javacore file and on the terminal.
  

Local fix

• Use of the -XCEEHDLR option avoids this problem.
  

Problem summary

• The problem was caused because the FP registers had been
  incorrectly tagged and, as a result, associated with a data type
  that could only accommodate half of the necessary bytes on the
  31-bit platform.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JVM has been updated and the FP registers have been properly
  tagged.
