APAR status

Error description

  • SignedDataVerificationFailure error is reported from the IEM
console trying to login as an LDAP user.
The error occurs when a Linux IEM Server is integrated with an
Active Directory Server selecting the Generic LDAP Server
configuration.

The following error is generated attempting the login to the IEM
console:
SignedDataVerificationFailure in data type 'USERINFO' object '2'
attribute 'guid'

Local fix

  • ./BESAdmin.sh -resignsecuritydata is required before any user
can login again.

Problem summary

  • Fixed in IBM Endpoint Manager 9.2 (fixpack 5)
