Error description

• ITNM 3.9 fp4
  Telnet helper is used by webtools gui option to login and
  extract more information from devices which can be accessed by
  telnet.   To login from the gui right click a device, choose
  webtools.   You can choose to use auto login (credentials as
  created in cfg files) or manual login (credentials entered by
  user).
  
  If the password manually entered contains a '+' (plus sign)
  character it will be sent as a ' ' (space) character resulting
  in invalid login.   In the dh_telnet trace this will appear as
  such
  
                  m_RequestOrigin=0;
                  m_ResponseTime=1500;
                  m_TelnetAccessCredentials={
                          m_Password='go giants';
                          m_SSHSupport=0;
                          m_Username='root';
                  };
  
  even though the user enters go+giants as the password.  Of note
  apar IV29828 only covers the '&' character.
  

Local fix

• Use autologin not manual login
