Local fix

  • This problem can be relieved by not running with the
-Xquickstart or -Xtune:virtualized options. However this may
result in the CPU utilization increasing more than the amount
saved from trying to avoid the issue. Alternatively, disable
AOT compilations with the -Xnoaot option.

Problem summary

  • Unnecessary recompilations at higher optimization levels have
been noticed on AOT loads when running under -Xquickstart or
-Xtune:virtualized. There is no functional problem, but the
additional compilations can result in more CPU utilization.

Problem conclusion

  • The JIT has been modified to address this issue
