Error description

  • New installation of the Omnibus ITM Agent on System Z fails
with the following error -
KCIIN2387E
 ERROR - "Monitoring Agent for Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus
V07.40.00.00"
could not be installed because the following pre-requisite
products are missing from this CD media:

        Linux S390 R2.4 (64 bit) Tivoli Enterprise-supplied JRE
V429R100

Run install.sh
Follow prompts and choose option 5 to install
 5) Linux S390 R2.4 (64 bit)

The following products will be installed:

  Monitoring Agent for Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V07.40.00.00

Are your selections correct [ 1=Yes, 2=No ; default is "1" ] ? 1

* ITM prereqs that the agent uses to build, and therefore may  *
* have different JRE dependency requirements.                  *
