APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The Clone Operation fails in vmware vCenter due to exception
thrown for independent hosts present in virtual Center. The
exception needs to be handled so the cloning can go through and
hence provisioning is successful.

Local fix

  • As a workaround you can create a VMware Folder with any name
and move  independent hosts or all the resources inside it.
