Error description

• Tivoli Portal client doesn't connect to Tivoli Portal server if
  Oracle Java 7 u55 is used.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  Install Oracle java 7 u55 on a windows desktop and attempt to
  connect to the tivoli Portal server. The following exception
  will show in the Tivoli Portal java log.

Local fix

• Change the connection mode in the Tivoli Portal client from
  IIOP to HTTP using the tep.connection.protocol=http environment
  variable. This parameter should be added to applet.html for the
  ivoli Portal browser client. For the Tivoli Portal Java
  Webstart client it should be added to the tep.jnlp file.
