APAR status

Error description

  • Error Message: The HttpURLConnection class does not support an
    entity body for the DELETE method though the HTTP/1.1
    specification allows it.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • HttpURLConnection does not support output (entity-body) with the
    DELETE method.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The HttpURLConnection implementation has been modified to
    support output (entity-body) with the DELETE method.
    .
    This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
       7    SR7 FP1   (7.0.7.1)
       7 R1 SR1 FP1   (7.1.1.1)
    .
