  • Error Message: Using expired IBM JDK, users are expected to get
    a warning dialogue stating the same and asking them to update to
    the newer JDK. But update action actualy taking the user to
    non-ibm site which is wrong.

Problem summary

  • Improve the IBM JRE's checking and handling of expiry warning
    information in the deploy component

  • This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
       7    SR7       (7.0.7.0)
       7 R1 SR1       (7.1.1.0)
    .
    Plugin/Webstart component specific warning dialogue for expiry
    JDK, restructured such a way that it warns the user about the
    expiry of the IBM JDK and also removes the update provision for
    the user.
