Local fix

Problem summary

  • Problem is caused when JVM running with
    -Xshareclasses:cacheRetransformed option retransforms a class
using bytecode instrumentation and the class being retransformed
already exists in the shared class cache. In such cases JVM
stores redundant data for the retransformed class in the shared
class cache that it could have avoided.

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
       7 SR7 (7.0.7.0)
       6 R1 SR8 (6.1.8.0)
    .
The JVM has been updated to fix the issue.
