• Error Message: When a crash occurs inside a running JVM on
  Windows 64 bit the crash data written to the console and the
  javacore.txt file is incorrect. The values for the
  ExceptionAddress and the RIP should match but are different.
  Other register values may also be incorrect.

Local fix

Problem summary

• The problem was caused by the exception data being overwritten
  during the exception handling process.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:

  The JVM has been updated to prevent the exception data being
  overwritten during the exception handling process.
