  • Error Message: The jdmpview 'set logging off' command should
stop the jdmpview tool from logging output to a file, as
previously specified by issuing the 'set logging on file
<filename>' command. However, the tool continues to log its
output.

Problem summary


    

  • The problem was caused by incorrect handling of the 'set logging
off' command in jdmpview

  • This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   7    SR7       (7.0.7.0)
   6 R1 SR8       (6.1.8.0)
.
The jdmpview tool has been updated to correctly handle the 'set
logging off' command
