• Error Message: JVM Trace assert "** ASSERTION FAILED ** at
  common/j9memtag.c:145: ((memoryCorruptionDetected))" is received
  when JVMTI agent deallocates the GetOwnedMonitorInfo returned
  memory pointer.

Local fix

Problem summary

• The problem occurs when the thread which is being queried
  successfully enters a monitor during execution of the
  GetOwnedMonitorInfo function.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
     6    SR16      (6.0.16.0)
     7    SR7       (7.0.7.0)
     6 R1 SR8       (6.1.8.0)
  .
  The JVM has been updated such that GetOwnedMonitorInfo correctly
  deals with this situation..
