Problem summary


    

  • The JNI native code in libj9jar24.so or libj9jar26.so does not
offload to the zAAP processor. This shared library is only in
use when the JVM -Xzero command line option or the -Xzero:j9zip
command line option is used.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   6    SR16      (6.0.16.0)
   7    SR7       (7.0.7.0)
   6 R1 SR8       (6.1.8.0)
.
The libj9jar24.so and libj9jar26.so are enabled for offload to
the zAAP processor.
