Local fix

  • This issue can be worked around using the -Xtrace:none=j9mm.213
    option to disable hot arraylet tracepoint.
    

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by changes in the GC code that triggered
    tracepoin on allocation of any zero-sized array.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
       7 R1 SR1       (7.1.1.0)
    .
    The tracepoint priority for zero-sized arrays was lowered .
