IV51598: "BMXAA0019E - FIELD GL ACCOUNT IS READ-ONLY" ERROR WHILE RUNNING PMWOGENCRONTASK

Error description

• Steps to replicate the issue in Maxdemo database:
  
  - Go to Security Groups application
  
  - Create a new Security Group CRON01 as the following:
  Independent of Other Groups? = Yes
  Authorized for BEDFORD Site
  Authorized for Cron Task Setup application
  
  - Go to Users application
  
  - Create a new User USER01 assigned to Group CRON01
  
  - Go to Cron Task Setup application
  
  - Bring up PMWoGenCronTask
  
  - Create a new PMWoGenCronTask Instance as the following:
  Schedule = Every 1 minute
  Run as User = USER01
  Active = Yes
  
  - Go to Preventive Maintenance application
  
  - Create a new PM record as the following:
  PM = PM01
  GLAccount = 6000-200-000
  Frequency = 1 DAY
  Estimated Next Due Date = today's date
  Save and change Status to ACTIVE
  
  - Wait for 1 minute
  
  The issue is: System console shows the error "BMXAA0019E -
  Field GL Account is read-only".
  
  Note: The error does not happen if we set the option "Authorize
  Group to Change All GL Components Types?" to the Security Group
  CRON01.
  

Local fix

• No workaround has been found.

  If the PMWogenCronTask 'Run as' user does not have signature
  authority to set GL components, "BMXAA0019E - FIELD GL ACCOUNT
  IS READ-ONLY" ERROR WHILE RUNNING PMWOGENCRONTASK will be
  encountered when the cron task runs. Work orders will not be
  generated.
  

Problem conclusion

• Work orders will be generated even if the PMWogenCronTask 'Run
  as' user does not have signature authority to set GL components.
  The BMXAA0019E will not be encountered.
  
  	The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  package:
  		 | release\fix pack\interim fix for Release 7.1.1.13 of Base
  Services and Release 7.5.0.6 of Base Services
