IV51071: CAPTURE FAILS USING A PREVIOUS MDT BUNDLE (3.1) WITH NEW SITE VERSION

Error description

  • TEM - OSD, TEM 9077 and OSD 7.1.1.12
Customer is trying to capture a Windows 8 64bit reference
machine. This machine has been installed from TEM OSd using a
profile that has been created from a preloaded Win 8 image.

After that customer customized this reference machine installing
additional softwares but trying to clone it the capture fails
during sysprep.

Looking in the BFErrorDetection-stage1.log there is the
following error:

A <ERR> Stopping Web extension
Unable to find the boot partition
RbAgent command rad-temsetcounter has failed [AGT:4086]

Local fix

  • Create a 3.2 bundle

Problem summary

  • This issue will be addressed in version 3.3 of IEM OSD.
