APAR status

Error description

  • Error Message: A SIGSEGV/GPF is received in getMonitorForWait()
in jclscar_24.so after an OutOfMemory with the message ""Failed
to allocate OS monitor" is thrown.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The problem is causing by a NULL pointer being dereferenced when
an OutOfMemory is thrown during OS Monitor allocation.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR15
.
The JVM has been updated to prevent the null pointer
dereference.
