Error description

  • BESEmailer.exe returned non-zero exit code 9: Unknown Error.
    Scheduled email reports in Web Reports not sending.
    
    This problem occurs when the IEM server/webreports
    component is upgraded from 8.2 to 9.0.
    
    Scheduled jobs that are configured to send reports through email
    do not run and/or the email does not get sent.
    
    Defect in the BESEmailer.exe module.
    

Local fix

  • Replace BESEmailer.exe with hotfix binary.
    

Problem summary

  • This issue will be addressed in the next release of IBM Endpoint
    Manager.
