Error description

  • Error Message: Even though
ResourceBundle.Control.needsReload()(user extends
ResourceBundle.Control to change needsReload at certain
criteria) returns false, a new loaded ResourceBundle is returned
by ResourceBundle.getBundle() rather than the existing cache.

Oracle SDK works fine.

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • ResourceBundle.Control.needsReload() is not checked when trying
to reload ResourceBundle when TimeToLive expires.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR15
6.0.1 SR7
.
Check ResourceBundle.Control.needsReload(), if returns false,
return the cached object.
