Error description

  • When the machine policy on a Windows 7 computer has [automatic
    sign-up] enabled, and RFID is being used for logon.
    In rare scenarios, when the user cancels midway during the
    automatic sign-up process, AccessAgent will display a message
    "Rolling back, please wait..." and remain in that state.
    

Local fix

  • Do not cancel midway during the automatic sign-up process.
    

Problem summary

  • Customer is seeing a problem where AccessAgent Credential
    Provider is hung with "Rolling Back" message during logon.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix Thread deadlock in Credential Provider.  Fixed in ESSO
    Fixpack 29
